CRM Lists

CRM Lists allow you to group contacts into named collections for campaigns, segmentation, or organizational purposes. Lists come in two types: static (manually curated) and dynamic (criteria-based, automatically updated).

List Grid

The grid displays all lists for the current tenant with columns for name, type, description, and contact count.

• For static lists, the contact count reflects the number of manually added members.
• For dynamic lists, the count is computed live from contacts matching the defined criteria.

Static Lists

Static lists contain a fixed set of contacts that you add and remove manually. Use static lists when you need precise control over which contacts are included.

Building a Static List

There are two ways to add contacts to a static list:

1. From the Contacts grid — Select one or more contacts, then click the Add to List toolbar button. A dialog lets you choose which static list to add them to. This is the primary way to build lists.
2. From the List Members view — Click a static list to open its members. Use the Add button to add contacts one at a time.

Removing Members

Open a static list’s members, select the contacts to remove, and click Delete Selected. This removes them from the list only — it does not delete the contact records.

Dynamic Lists

Dynamic lists automatically include all contacts matching a set of filter criteria. There is no manual membership — the list contents update in real time as contacts are added, modified, or removed.

When you select Dynamic as the list type, the criteria fields appear:

Status	Include only contacts with a specific status (Active, Inactive, Do Not Contact)
Source	Include only contacts from a specific acquisition source
Tag	Include only contacts with a specific tag
Account	Include only contacts linked to a specific account
Opted-in Email	Filter by email opt-in status
Opted-in SMS	Filter by SMS opt-in status
Opted-in WhatsApp	Filter by WhatsApp opt-in status
Created After	Include contacts created on or after this date
Created Before	Include contacts created on or before this date

All criteria are combined with AND logic — contacts must match all specified conditions to be included.

When viewing members of a dynamic list, the grid is read-only. You cannot manually add or remove contacts; membership is determined entirely by the criteria.

Changing List Type

You can change a list’s type between static and dynamic:

• Static to Dynamic — All existing manual members are removed and the list switches to criteria-based membership.
• Dynamic to Static — The criteria are cleared and the list starts empty, ready for manual member management.

List Membership on Contacts

When editing a contact, the Lists field (read-only) shows the names of all static lists the contact belongs to.
