utils.c:1175 ast_careful_fwrite: fwrite() returned error: Broken pipe

Posted by brian on

Hello,

Getting this error on 'most' reloads. Is it anything to worry about?

Asterisk 1.6.2.14

PBX Manager 6.1.1.10

Debian Lenny

Thanks,
Brian

what version of centos? I get that sometimes too, does it only happen on reloads from the gui or will it happen when logged into the cli and you do a reload then as well?

Hi Erik,

Running Debian 5.0 on this box. It seems to have only appeared since I upgraded to 1.6.2.14 and it only ever happens from a GUI reload. Can't see any issues happening just don't like this type of error.

from what ive seen its mostly likely caused by a command sent via the AMI. I know I used to get them on centos 4.5 after asterisk 1.4 was out. I usually got it after running an AGI script. One site remarked about not sending a double newline at the end of a statement.
