Set other default value for Call Limit than None

Posted by reventix on Thu, 04/30/2009

The default value of Call Limit shouldn't be 'None' because the value prevents that an extension can transfer a call to another one. And it's rather time comsuming if you add some extensions with the Bulk Generator and still you have to edit every extension manually to change the Call Limit value.

The best solution were when you can define a default value in the tenant management.

afaik 'none' simply omits any call-limit entry into sip.conf. No call-limit entry means unlimited, not 1. it does not prevent transfers. Additionally if you go into PBX Settings -> Default Values .. under Phone Template you can pre-set your call-limit there. BTW call limit is depreciated and no longer works in 1.6.
