Message Detail Records

Message Detail Records (MDR) provide a searchable log of SMS and messaging activity, similar to CDR for voice calls.

Viewing Message Records

The MDR section allows you to browse and filter message records by date range, source number, destination number, tenant, and message direction (inbound or outbound).

Record Details

Each record includes the timestamp, source and destination numbers, message status (delivered, failed, pending), tenant name, and associated channel or route information.

Filtering and Export

You can apply filters to narrow results to a specific time period or phone number. The filtered results can be exported to CSV for further analysis or record-keeping.

Message Detail Records are subject to the same retention policies as CDR. Configure retention settings in Tenant or system-wide Preferences.
