Voicemail to Email Settings

Posted by Redial on Wed, 01/06/2016

I have tried to search here and haven't really found all the answers. How do I customize the email being sent from Thirdlane when a tenant's extn gets their voicemail sent to them.

I wanted to change the Sent From Email Address, right now it's showing Webmin@thirdlane.local
Ideally I want it to be my own domain like noreply@fqdn.com

Also want to have it changed from Asterisk PBX to my Company name

and in the Subject I would like to change that a little as well.

SO I am wondering why even though I have updated the Voicemail.conf file to have my FQDN 1, 2, and 3 are still not matching what's been setup in conf file. So I am wondering where else I need to change things.

Same as when the emails are sent from the welcome emails, have the same Sent From Email address that needs to be updated as well as the Asterisk PBX.

thats all under the [general] section of voicemail.conf .. you can edit the body of the message in one setting and the from headers under another setting.

an example:

serveremail=voicemail@bluegrassnetvoice.com

fromstring=BluegrassNet Voice PBX

emailbody=Dear ${VM_NAME}:\n\n\tjust wanted to let you know you were just left a ${VM_DUR} long message (number ${VM_MSGNUM})\nin mailbox ${VM_MAILBOX} from ${VM_CIDNAME} (${VM_CIDNUM}), on ${VM_DATE}, so you might\nwant to check it when you get a chance. Thanks!\n\n\t\t\t\t--BluegrassNet Voice\n
