Thirdlane Connect Drag & Drop HTML

Just had this issue reported to be by an end user & have replicated myself,

From the Thirdlane Connect desktop app on Windows, if you drag & drop a HTML file into Thirdlane Connect it acts as a HTML parser and shows the HTML page, instead of sending the file as an attachment.

You then can't get out of this without killing the service.
