Thirdlane 7.2.1.1 is available

We are happy to announce a new release of Thirdlane products.

Among new features and enhancements the new release includes REST API and Migration Assistant which facilitates migration from earlier versions of Thirdlane products, data migration across Thirdlane products, and conversion from FreePBX and derivatives.

Here is a partial list of enhancements and bug fixes:

Migration tools - for migrating from older versions, single/to multi or back, or from other PBXs such as FreePBX derivatives
Added an option for voicemail storage - now voicemail can be stored in the database or file system
Moved voicemail_messages table to pbxlogs database for new installations.
Automatic generation of REST API documentation, added testing tool to the web UI
REST API for management of tenants, extensions, user portal, etc
Fixed Call Center access for admin level users.
Fixed CDR access permissions in user portal.
Fixed a bug preventing deletion of multiple extensions.
Added 10 seconds timeout for Congestion in inbound routes.
Changed tenant screen to be more intuitive when creating tenants from template.
Added copying of tenant "limits" when creating tenants from template.
Added Caller ID for Emergency calls and Trunk Override for Emergency calls to support 911 calls on system/tenant/extension level.
Added column headers to CDR CSV download.
Fixed URL checking when creating custom menus to support variables.
Added check for x-real-host when processing user configured menus for ${HOSTADDRESS} replacement.
Changed Servers screen to show only relevant information and also avoid full page refresh
Added media file conversion to wav when user plays sound files in web GUI to make the format more user/windows friendly
Added management of call recording options on a global, tenant and extension level.
Added "new_recording_mechanism" for more granular and efficient management of call recordings for extensions, queues, and conferences. It is the default for the new installations, but requires manual adjustment for existing installation as the directory structure has changed.
Added "require authorization code" option to outbound dialing permissions checking.
Added ability to enter account code in CDR web GUI.
Fixed dialplan scripts to respect global RINGTIME variable
Fixed user creation limits in bulk generator.
Added web interface for setting of Day/Night mode
Added code to properly handle playing of recorded files for i164 caller id.
Enhancements to backup/restore, with asynchronous operation and updated GUI to avoid http timeouts.
Added default inbound permissions that allow all calls
Added inbound dialing permission check which acts as a pattern based blacklist. Any previously created routes where this feature is needed must be "resaved"
Added an option to disallow extension based ring groups in huntlists. This also disables followme based huntlists.
Enhancements to GUI performance when managing inbound and outbound routes.
