Server returned error code = -1 Internal Server Error

Posted by jacod on Thu, 12/22/2016

Hey there,

I am receiving a weird error when trying to configure the Asterisk part of the system:
Server returned error code = -1
Internal Server Error

I have tried installing Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX and Thirdlane Business PBX on a dedicated server and virtual machines on my local system while still receiving the same error message.

Any advise on how to resolve the issue would be appreciated.

Please let me know if you require any more information from my side.

Thanks,
Jaco du Plessis

Hey Alex,

Thanks for the reply.

I have re-downloaded the ISO files and retried the installation on VMware Workstation 12 Player and Oracle VM VirtualBox as I was originally using XenServer.

The installation completed all 804/804 packages, and allowed me to configure the network adapters after the initial boot.

On both systems, there are however 2 errors when starting the server:

Running dahdi_cnf:
Starting HAL deamon: [FAILED]

STARTING ASTERISK
Starting service : [FAILED]

Not sure if I am doing anything wrong, any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
Jaco

I am having the same issue -- ran from the command shell:

> chkconfig asterisk on
error reading information on service asterisk: No such file or directory

Any help?

Also updated a 7.5 MTE server to 8.0 and now having the same issue after server reboot. These are test systems but I really need to figure this out before we put 8.0 in production.

Thanks,
Mike
