Has anyone had any issues with running MTE on VM ware?
6.1.1.6? 6.1.1.11? the new version 8?
I know 6 years ago it was a complete mess but now I do not see anything really posted
about it in the last couple of years.
if its fine to go in production with it do you use Thin Disk or Thick?
this will be VMware esxi 5.5 on it's own dedicated hardware with 15k drives.
we mainly want to do it for snap shots and backups.

The howto guide i wrote was all done in esxi 6.0 and my prod MTE version is also ... Just make sure you choose CentOS 4/5/6/7 (64-bit) for the Guest OS type...
No problems here with esxi 5.5 and the lastest version of MTE
We use Thin.
