Phone provisioning protocols - do you use and need FTP?

No one should use anything except http/https.

That said, why not make the templates properly use what is set in the settings instead of having it all hard coded.

HTTP(s) is preferred and should be used when available. Some phones are sensitive to the type of the certificates
