Missing sip.conf setting

Posted by fuse3 on Thu, 12/11/2008

I just upgraded to the latest build 6.0.1.68 and i have noticed that one of the additions from 64 doesnt show. If i am reading the notification correctly it was supposed to ass T.38 into the sip.conf

2008-11-05 Added t38pt_udptl=yes to sip.conf. Thanks Andrey.

After updating and then reloading pbx i went to sip.conf and its not there.

Does it need to be manually added?

Just looking to add T.38 support.

Thank you

I would just manually add it. Forcing everyone to have this setting enabled when they don't have a t38 gateway has a disastrous result that causes all faxes to fail from ATA's as they renegotiate to t38 yet have no gateway to return to t30.

I would add it on my globals but also add it as an additional sip option to your 'special line' if thats where you created the registration for the ATA.
