Linksys phone does not register (do not see an attemp in the asterisk log) (softclient - eyebeam does)

Hi,

Can someone help me.

We already use for a long time an old version of Thirdlane.

- I just installed a clean server with the Thirdlane ISO.
- I have added a tenant
- I have added an extension (same user and password as the old server)

- When I change the host name of my softclient (eyebeam) from the old FQDN of the server to the new one the soft client is registered immidiatly.

- When I change the host name of my softclient from the old FQDN of the server to the new one the soft client it does not work.
- With TCPdump i see that there is a request
- In the logging of asteris I do not see an attemp
- I diabled for a short time iptables -> still no attemp to register within the asterisk logs

Is there some thing I need to open?

look at your capture carefully... if the realm is a RFC1918 address then there is no route back.

Hi,

there is no RFC1918 address. The ip-address is banned by fail2ban when i logon with a linksys spa942. When I logon with the same sip account from the same external IP with a softclient it work.

I cannot find why these a blocked. Is there a known issue with linksys phones with fail2ban with this version?

Almost all the phones of my users are linksys / cisco phones.
