forward and other features

Hey All,

It was just brought to my attention that there is no way to activate or de-activate features like call forwarding by dialing into the system.

I know this can be done if your using an IVR BUT what is everyone doing for residential customers that don't have access to anything other then dialing into the there phone number and getting into there voice mail box.

Any suggestions..? how are you handling this problem..?

You can use scripts (your own or basic scripts we provide) + feature extensions - but (as always) the issue is with permissions, authentication, etc.

Hey Alex,

this is a matter is adding features to the voice mail menu, if a DID is dialed directly assigned to an extension feature codes do not work, tried it, adding my own script..? add it to where..?

If this was a matter of a company with an IVR its simple to do as you say BUT with a single extension I don't see how as that code seems to be locked..

if I'm wrong please point me in a direction I will be happy to put the time into figuring it out..
