We use Yealink phones. For some settings, we use the Translation Maps functionality so we can change some phone behaviour. Things like timezone, transfer type etc
As far as we can tell, we are only able to set a pull down menu for the variable to choose from preprogrammed values which are then translated into the provisioning file field value.
There are some items that we would like to change on a device that we would not want to use a preselected value from a pull down, but instead enter a text variable. Example, to set the SSID for a wifi device, or to set the password. Would be unique for each device.
Is there a way to do this using translation maps, or any other way?
