Call park in latest Ver MT question

Posted by biznet on Tue, 04/09/2024

We have a new server that we intend on moving out tenants to. On both the new and the old server, for some reason When the tenant Parks a call, it puts in the parking lot and the BLF show's that a call in parked on one of the spaces on another phone. when pressing the red BLF button on the phone, the call appears to transfer to the answering phone, but we can't hear the party on the other end. However, the workaround: If you immediately after pressing pushing the parking space button, put the caller on hold, then immediate "resume" the held call, all is good.

Our server is on a public IP address with the firewall open to any service. The tenant phones are behind NAT and they work just fine except in the above scenario. When our test phones (on the same network as the server) park calls, all works as expected?

We are using Yealink phones. We have tried configuring the STUN settings on the phone to the TL server thinking that the generated ICE/STUN might help the situation, no luck.

any ideas?

Tried all sorts of ways to figure out if I can make it work with settings on extensions, no luck when behind a NAT interface, we must put the parked call on hold/u-nhold after picking it up via DFS button.

When you first pickup the parked call it is a one way conversation, when you toggle "hold" "resume" on the "unparked" call , conversation is normal. PITA but not a deal breaker.
