hi,

i have installed third lane multitenent. i am looking for a good biiling software which supports on my box. could you please suggent any good billing solution.

Anyone have good (or even decent) luck with any kind of billing system with the MT?

only if you put a asterisk box in front of it to collect good CDR. In MTE 1 call can generate 3 different CDR records creating 3x the cost for your customer which would really piss them off. Also outbound calls show the extension as the source instead of the 10 digit callerid. Also think about how inbound calls often get re-written as 's' in your CDR. Will kinda suck when you're shelling out $$ for toll free origination and you've no way to bill the customers. So yea, if you're willing to do that, then I know of a billing system that will solve your needs.

DTH Software has a solution that will bill off asterisk cdr based on the source and destination numbers. Running your calls through another asterisk box, deemed a 'gateway', will give you 1 line CDR for each call with a true origination and destination number.
