Stumped. Useing Uverse with a 2wire router I can send and receive calls as i have all ports unblocked.
However when i try and record a voice recording my extension rings but there is no female voice saying please record your message after the tone, i tried pressing # to see if it would save and it didnt.
I try the same exact thing on a cable internet connection and the recording plays just fine.
Any ideas?? Does this app use a special port?????? HUH

i had problems with a uverse modem myself, and after calling tech support and finding out i could not put their modem into bridge mode (which is bull honky) and i couldn't completely disable the firewall (again more bull honky) i put a linksys router behind the 2wire, and put my linksys router into the DMZ, now no more problems
