Fax Settings
On this screen you can specify options for sending Faxes. You can send a fax in Send Faxes or Thirdlane Connect by uploading a file in PDF format.
Fax Fields
| Field | Description |

| Station ID | Your Station ID is transmitted to the recipient when an outgoing fax is sent. It may appear in the display of the recipient’s fax machine. Usually consists of your fax number and business name and is limited to 20 characters. |
| Paper Size | Paper size for sending faxes. |
| Notify me by email both on failure and success | When enabled, you will receive email notifications for both successful and failed fax transmissions. When disabled, you will only be notified on failure. |
| Email Address for notifications | The email address where fax status notifications are sent. This field appears when email notifications are enabled. |
| Number of retries | Number of retries before giving up when sending a fax. |
| Retry Time (secs) | Time to wait (in seconds) after an unsuccessful attempt before retrying. |
| Wait Time (secs) | Time to wait (in seconds) for the result after the fax is sent. |
