External Contacts
External Contacts is a shared address book for customers, partners, vendors, and any individual who is not a company user. It works like a shared digital phone book or a mini CRM, visible to all users in your organization.
Viewing Contacts
The grid displays all external contacts with their key details. You can sort records by clicking on any column header; clicking the same header again reverses the sort order.
Use the filter to quickly find contacts by Last Name, First Name, Company, or Department. For each field you can specify whether you are looking for an exact match, or entries starting with or containing the specified text.
Adding and Editing Contacts
Based on your permissions, you may be able to create, edit, and delete contact records. To add a new contact click the Add button above the grid.
The contact form includes the following fields:

| Photo URL | URL for a contact photo |
| Comments | Additional notes about the contact |
Calling Your Contacts
To call a contact, click one of their phone numbers in the grid. Your phone will ring and when you pick it up you will hear it ringing your contact’s phone.
