Change Fax2Email Sent from / Signature Info

they are scripts installed in /usr/local/sbin

I looked at this folder and open each script, I didn't find any place to personalize the from/subject/messege,
can you point which is the right file that should be modified?
can it be different for each language according the customer preferences?

It is in /usr/local/sbin in a file named fax2pdf.sh

I doubt it can be changed for each customer, but I am not sure.

I saw this file, but its for FAX massages,
did you find the one for voice massages?
and how can I change the from "thirdlane" email?

ssh into the server look into the /etc/asterisk directory inside the the file voicemail.conf halfway down emailbody = and the message you want to change

This may be the wrong way and possibly the wrong answer. But I went into /etc/asterisk and I changed the voicemail.conf file to reflect the email subject and FROM portion. It works fine, but I am unsure if this will be overwritten during an upgrade or patch.

it worked, but I cant get rid of the "Asterisk PBX" name of the from messege.
is it possible?

did you change the value of fromstring= ?

I did as follows:

; Change the From: string
;fromstring=The 1com PBX

but I still don't get it as the from in the messeges, I get "Asterisk PBX" instead.

you do know what a semi-colon means right? if not, hire someone because you have no business in that file.
