I am attempting to configure a ZAP channel for outbound dialing. I have a Digium card. Digium card is a AEX804. What is the proper way to set up a trunk/channel to use this card. Is it possible to set this up in the Thirdlane screens or do I have to set this up in the zapata.conf?
We have confirmed with Digium that the latest firmware and drivers are installed and he confirmed that the card is working within our system.

you edit zapata.conf manually. You can put all the channels in a single group. When you create your zaptel trunk in pbxmanager call it G1 (if the group is 1). You want to make sure your analog lines roll over in ascending order, the capitol G implies decending order for outbound calls. This helps reduce the probability of glare.
