depends on other global settings and depends on your provider, each tenant has to be able to alter their callerid, a global variable has to be set.

we are not talking about the same thing,

what I am talking about is set in the user extension level (user portal/ forwarding at the bottom) Use original caller's Caller ID when forwarding, its for passing the "callers caller ID" when a call is forwarded or the follow me feature is activated.

It was were Confirm call acceptance is now in MTE and is still in the SE version of TL. Does anyone know what Confirm call acceptance does..?

its is a feature that's been there for years.. were did it go..?

For this to be manageable at the extension level in the user portal a global default variiable "Allow use of original caller id in forwarded calls" has to be set in PBX Settings -> Default Values -> Outbound Dialing. There is way too much trouble with this option as it depends on the provider. It could be set on the trunk level, but then we would not know when to show it in the user portal (and showing it when it won't work may not be a good idea either) as there is no easy way to know which trunk will be used for forwarding, etc.
