Trunk disappears in TL GUI after setting up

Posted by net4youvillach on Thu, 09/19/2013

Hello,

we are using Asterisk 1.8.11.1-1digium1~squeeze and Thirdlane GUI PBX Manager 6.1.1.12.

We have the following issue with adding sip trunks:
After setting up a SIP-Trunk by GUI and reload the Asterisk the SIP-Trunk disappears in the list of SIP-Trunks.
However in sip.conf the SIP-Trunk is available but didn't shown in the GUI.

As soon as the SIP-Trunk will commented out in sip.conf and recreated by the GUI the trunk will not disappear after a reload.

A detail of sip.conf where this issue had happened:
[agarnwiesen-sonustrunk]
qualify=yes
fromuser=+433xxxxxxx
nat=no
;=description=SIP-Trunk
host=93.xxx.xxx.xxx
username=+433xxxxxxx
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=from-outside
type=friend
insecure=invite
canreinvite=no
disallow=all
allow=alaw
allow=ulaw

Any suggestions to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance and Best regards!

Hi,

sorry, i don't really know what you mean.
I shall look if there is a "or" in sip.conf?

best regards!

he means look for open brackets.. also sometimes in trunks.include there will be an empty set of values left in there that causes all sorts of parsing confusion.
