Trunk being Placed on Hold

i have a carrier which (sometimes) sends me an sdp packet when the other side of a call hangs up, and this causes my sip trunk to place the call on hold (resulting in my customer hearing their own music on hold). Now, is there any way to eliminate this kind of problem? maybe restrict the sip trunk to my carrier from being placed on hold, or perhaps have asterisk not interpret this sdp packet as a hold signal?
