Thirdlane update with proxy

Posted by crashonia on Wed, 10/22/2008

hello,

I'm using thirdlane version 6.0.1.57 with permanent license and I want to upgrade it to 6.0.1.63. When i press check for updates it says "The latest available version of PBX Manager could not be retrieved. "

I'm using proxy server for my internet connections(I have http_proxy variable in the system with a valid proxy address:port so i can use yum for example)

could the proxy setting be a problem for this? I couldn't find proxy configuration in webmin.

maybe there is a direct link to download the latest thirdlane version?
thanks.

Click the big blue "Download" button on the right-hand side of this page. :) You'll want the "Thirdlane PBX (webmin module)" one. It says demo, but it's the full thing, it's only demo mode if you don't have a license. Take that file and put it somewhere on the filesystem on your PBX Manager server.

Then:

1) Go to http://yourphoneserver/webmin/ (if you're not logged in, you might need to log in first, then go back to that URL manually again - and obviously, replace "yourphoneserver" with the real address of your server)

2) Click on Webmin Modules

3) Click the radio button for "From local file"

4) Click the '...' button to the right of the field and navigate to the saved file on the filesystem.

5) Click "Install module"
