To add this feature to inbound route.
There would be field for emergency override number and tick box to enable/disable emergency override.
If for example internet or power is down on customer site and the phones doesn't work you only enable emergency override and the calls forwarded to emergency override number (which already will be added to this field). This usually is managers mobile.

Could you do that with a operator managed route? You could add a handler for temp mode and set it to the emergency override number. And, set up a feature code to let you change modes.

Most of our customers use schedule based routes.
I was working with different hosted system which has this feature. It is very useful when you have 400-500 customers...

seen this on other systems for tenant level and extension level for fail over. would be VERY handy and is a major selling point..

currently MTE has nothing that would work in case of an outage.
