Distinctive ring not working

Hi,

I'm trying to get distinctive ringing to work.

I'm using pbx manager 7.0.1.63 and asterisk 1.8.12.

The phone I'm testing on is a snom370.

At the tenant I set use distinctive ring for internal calls to 'yes' and set Alertifno to 'internal'.

On the snom I set the Alert info text to 'internal'. and chose a different ringtone for internal calls.

When diallinf from another extension or from outside still rings the same ringtone.

Is there something I missed?

This is only for testing, in the future we want to be able to use this for different phones, unfortunately I only have a snom to test on.

do a sip capture and make sure the header is there.. additionally we really cant help you with beta software.. noone in production is actually using it.

I use it for a few of my customers in production. with Polycom, it just worked. Aastra, I had to provision the phone to the PBX instead of manually registering it. It may be do to how you are registering it.
