custom login page

Posted by moshe on Tue, 12/30/2008

i would like to avoid the login page, the reason for that is to give access for resellers to have there own brand/logo, what would be the best approach
1 either having multiple login pages , don't know how to set that up
2 setting up a custom login field on any web page where a user could enter u/n and p/w and hit a login button, what would be the script to make it work ??
any ideas /comments

Ever get a response or figure this out? We would also be interested in knowing how to change the logo on the login page based on the URL. I know that TL puts a "preroot_=" entry in the miniserv.conf file - can that somehow be used to map the initial URL to a different logo? I.e., have www.domain_a.com use Logo1.png and www.domain_b.com use Logo2.png?

I too am interested in modifying the standard login page. If anyone can even just provide where the templates are for the current login page, it would be appreciated.

TL must have overridden the std webmin pages, but I can't find them.

I'm not sure where the templates are what I have done so far I have set a login page on another web server pointing to my mte so basically I'm bypassing the webmin login page the only thing I haven't found a solution yet is some thing like a logout redirect (when a user logs out it should logout and redirect to the initial login page, or any other page) any advice would be appreciated
