Message Waiting indicator no updating 9.1.2.37

Posted by biznet on Fri, 03/01/2019

We have had a few tenants in MTE complaining that the message waiting indicator on the yealink phones are not going off right away ( as in 20 minutes) after deleting the messages.

Any ideas? this started just after upgrade to the 9.1.2.37

Hello Doug,

We are aware of this problem. It is caused by current version of Asterisk. In version 13.25 this issue is resolved. We are testing latest Asterisk with our system.

It should be available in our production repository early next week.

I updated to 13.25.0-4 but when I connect to the console it still says RC3. Why did you not build 13.25.0 instead of trying to backport into a release candidate?

[root@pbx-sma ~]# asterisk -V
Asterisk 13.25.0-rc3

[root@pbx-sma ~]# rpm -qi asterisk13
