Recently I started recording calls for a small call center up north.
I went in to the queue and enabled call recording. While I was on site it labeled every call the following way:
queue-InboundCalls-TenantName-2012-01-09-10-35-19-55555555555-TenantName.wav

I tested and observed the call recording and saw the correct labeling on each file.

Shortly after I left that location and started driving home it started labeling them this way:

1234567890.123456.wav
Looks like this is the unique call Id for each phone call.

So my main question is this,

Can anyone provide me with a list of packages to install when installing Thirdlane MTE as a standalone webmin module?

I am building a demo server running Gentoo Linux. So far, I have Linux installed, installed Asterisk via Gentoo Portage (and therefor all dependancies taken care of, MySQL, etc.), webmin installed, and the Thirdlane MTE module installed. Everything seems to be working fine. I have built multiple tenants, and have extensions working on both of them.

Hi,

I have a little problem with Thirdlane. I have check in older threads, but nothing *solved* about that. I had a problem with webmin, and I finally manage to reinstall it. From here all is ok, Asterisk is working properly, the functions of the pbx are working properly but when I enter into the menu

"Extensions and Directory" >> "User Extensions" and I click into the Extension number I get the next message: "User not found".

We have been mulling around with the idea of introducing a Media Gateway in to our hosted PBX deployment to allow for the inbound calls to be routed via PRI, while keeping outbound traffic routed out through SIP trunking. I just have a couple of questions for anyone here that would feel like sharing.

Has anyone here had any experience (good or bad) with any Media Gateways?

Hello,

is there a way to specify the recorded calls format exactly to match the thirdlane format so it will show correctly in Thirdlane portal?

I have managed to set it this way:
out-%EXT%-%DATE_TIME_FORMAT[yyyy-MM-dd-HH-mm-ss]%-%CID_NUMBER%-%TENANT%

but that's only apply for outgoing calls.

Incoming calls should looks like this:
in-%CID_NUMBER%-%DATE_TIME_FORMAT[yyyy-MM-dd-HH-mm-ss]%-%EXT%-%TENANT%

but there is no option to set 2 formats...
Is there some other way?

Thanks

Hello,

I have a single tenant install PBX, this install was recently changed from being connected to an ISDN2 to SIP for inboung and outbound calls. All is working ok bar forwarding handsets to mobiles when everyone is out of the office, the mobile rings but when answered there is no audio in either direction.

If a call comes in and it gets transferred to a mobile device then audio is fine.

The PBX sits behind a NAT firewall and the following ports are open inbound, there is no restriction outbound:

TCP/UDP 10001 - 20000
TCP/UDP 5060

Anyone know of a way to have a polycom buddy watch (or similar) the parking lot? or another way to accomplish this: Scenario is that receptionist 1 and receptionist 2 often need to grab calls that are parked, but there's no indicator as to when/what ext. a call is parked on a polycom.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

On MTE the option 'Alert Info for internal calls' is on each tenant.

How do I do this on thirdlane STE?

Thanks

Hi Guys,

We use number format of 10 digits. All start with '0'. If we do a bulk upload of numbers (eg:0123456789 to 0129876543) the first loaded DID has it's leading '0' but the rest all are 9 digits and start with 12.

Please can someone assit with this?

Thanks,

Wed, 01/18/2012 - 07:59 | where are ivr's stored ?

Hi,

I need to build a large customised ivr script with lots of variables, db calls, AGI etc. I want to base this on a "standard" ivr in TL MTE but i cant find it, where is this stored ?

I also noticed a tiny bug in the mediafiles page, it doesnt handle files well that have muliple points in their name, a file called 1.6.7.9.wav is shown as file "1 6" in the page.

Another thing is the ability to just play an announcement as action, seems the only way to do that is to call another menu ?

Hope anyone can help.

Kind regards,
Hans
