Using Thirdlane Dialer

When used as a Microsoft Outlook add-in, Thirdlane Dialer installs itself as an Outlook toolbar, searches currently selected contact or email for phone numbers and displays them in a drop-down list.
You can select a number from the list, edit it if necessary (in the provided edit field on the same toolbar) and click the "Call" button.

When used as a standalone application, Thirdlane Dialer can be launched from the Programs -> Thirdlane Dialer menu. Thirdlane Dialer appears as a tray icon and a small floating toolbar (green when properly configured and red otherwise).
You can type the first letters of the contacts first name, last name or a company name, and the toolbar displays the dropdown of all relevant phone numbers, narrowing the list down as you type.

To select a phone number from the dropdown menu, you can click on a number or just use the keyboard. Once selected, the number appears in the toolbar's edit field where it can be edited before dialing if necessary.

To make a call, click the "Call" button.

Thirdlane User Portal integration Using Thirdlane Dialer alongside Thirdlane PBX (with the Thirdlane PBX connection type) offers an advantage of seamless secure access to the Thirdlane User Portal, where you can set your personal preferences for call forwarding, follow-me, call screening and recording, dialing from a company directory, accessing and managing voicemail and recorded calls, and viewing call history.

To access the User Portal simply select "User Portal" from the popup-menu - you will be logged in automatically based on the credentials specified on the Options -> User Information tab.
