I'm trying to setup a gateway to deal with my current faxing issues, I have mostly hosted customers and I think the problem lies in my communication between them (my customers) not with the leg handled by my sip providers. So I am trying to do (customer fax) - T.38 - (My Server) - inband- (sip provider). First off, is Fax for Asterisk the best way to achieve this, and if so, is there any guides or documentation on how to set it up this way, or if someone has done this would they be so kind to share their configuration files for it. My biggest issue at the moment seems to be the transmission speed, it takes a really long time to send a fax, like 10 mins for 2 pages. Additionally I would like to be able to do fax > email, so any help on that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks

Do you have any good resources you can point me to? I've read all the posts on the forum that I could find about and and I've read through the documentation from digium, but that didn't seem to informative so I'm not sure if I actually had the full documentation or not.
