In my old configuration (FreePBX) we was able to do Join Announcements as a caller joins the Queues

How can that be accomplish with MTE Queues

Thanks

asterisk does not do join announcements in the queue, they do periodic announcements that repeat. What you're describing is a situation where the caller is played an announcement before being placed into the queue. Just keep that in mind so you understand that a lengthy intro will affect 'hold times' simply because that time occurs before a call can even get offered to an agent.

so if you still want to play a one-time message, this is done inside hunt lists. Select the recording, select the queue, select a script to run should they fail out of the queue.
