I've had a very odd and random issue where users are hearing their tenants music on hold when a call is terminated by the remote party. I have not been able to pin down a particular cause to the issue nor can I reproduce the problem in the lab consistently. I'm using Centos 5.3 x64 with MTE 6.0.1.72 and asterisk 1.4.24. Any Idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I was going to start doing some packet captures to see if I'm getting a SIP message that might be causing the problem. It pretty rare that it happens and I was wondering if the Gateway is trying to reinvite, I have can reinvite set to no on the trunk so I might set it to yes just to see if the problem goes away.

was thinking more like .. you arent getting a sip message. If your provider is non-compliant and fails to always give you a BYE message, your other leg can attempt to proceed into dialplan.
does it occur when remote party calls you, then hangs up first?

Not always, but that does make sense. Lucent has made it clear they are not fully RFC compliant. It could be possible they are not sending the appropriate SIP messages at the end of the calls. This hasn't been service effecting, more of an annoyance. I will no more once I can get a pcap of a call that has the problem.
