Sun, 08/01/2010 - 00:50 | you first buy the server

you first buy the server license.. which gets you the first tenant.. you must rename the tenant from 'default' to the EXACT spelling that you named in pbx manager. Afterwards each tenant you add requires a tenant license.

I am currently running build 2128 though I think the previous build worked a little better.

Thanks,
Last Questions really.

Under each Tenant there is a drop down that says

Create Operator Panel configuration
Options are None, Use PBX default and isymphony. I imagine if I am to use Isymphony I would require setting it there, and as you metioned earlier cahnge the settinf in Isymphony from default to match my tenant name. What is the PBX default?

Also do you run Isymphony on the same server as your MTE?
Are you finding alot of your clients are using Isymphony?

Thanks,
Chris A

i wouldnt do that, its a good way to fuck up your isymphony. It was designed around build 1104 and every time it writes to the xml file you have to restart isymphony which disconnects all the clients.

just use the admin tool of isymphony for the 1600+ build versions.. theres a php module on its way.

Sun, 08/01/2010 - 20:21 | Isymphony Connecting to multiple MTE's

Hi

We run an isymphony ISP Solution on a seperate (redundant) server. This server connects to multiple MTE servers which are running multiple tenants.

This All runs just fine.

This ISP version is not availablie from THE i9 website, but if you sent an email to the sales dept, you can request a quote for this

you've been lied to Gert.. all their features reside in a single server package. It supports multiple tenants and multiple location objects ever since build 1104 was in beta. Ive been using it with MTE for 3.5 yrs.

the only thing you'd need to email them for is a build version more recent than 1678. The features, however are all in the single binary package, with the license keys determining how many of what type of object allowed.
