Hi All,

We are still in a transistion phase and we currently use FreePBX Ringgroups with a Ring Strategy known as "firstnotonphone" First Not On Phone.

This strategy Rings only the First channel Not OffHook...

This is important to us becuase we provide Telephony for a number of Radio Stations and we USE PAPT2 to connect into there Telephone Onair System.

As ring group will call all the lines in the studio to ring for 1 caller. Hence the reason why we need First Not On Phone Ring Strategy, which currently works like a CHARM...

How to accomplish this with MTE

firstnotonphone is not a strategy as defined in queues.conf (see the voip-info wiki). If you can look on the FreePBX system to see what actual asterisk defined strategy they are using it would help us help you better.

If your wanting to call the first caller not in use you could use a strategy like route robin and just make sure ringinuse=no in globals. On those PAP2 have you disabled call waiting? That would insure it wouldn't get called.

you can still use huntlists (again turn off call waiting)

have ring group 1 call line 1

then ring group 2 call line 2

etc

If the line is busy it will immediately go to the next ring group list (a group of just 1 extension)
