no, a request like that only works in NANPA. Other countries are variable length and do not have as well mapped out area code design. Hell they dont even agree on the total number of digits their numbers have even within the same country.

here is to your better explanations :

there is a menu called DIDs and Tunks

under that menu when you click for the DIDs, you get some thing like this

DID Assigned to In Use
64725800000 CustomerA yes

above this there should be a filter to list by

COUNTRY ( AND OR ) STATE ( AND OR ) CITY ( AND OR )

Suppose we have 5000 dids, we want our Tenant to get the DID according to city or country or state

What you can do is to use the description field to enter whatever information you need to classify DIDs (like a country code, but you can develop your own classification) and use that for selection.

see the rules of how a # is broken down vary country by country.

lets take your example number

64725800000

NANPA rules would assume

country code is 6

state is area code 472

exchange is 580

yet the country code very well might be 64 or 647

and the area code might just be 1 or 2 digits. I have even seen countries where the area codes are both 1 and 2 digits
